What You Doing This Summer ?
We want to give away 5 nights on St. Pete Beach !
It gets plenty hot during the summer in Florida. There are some days it is just better to stay inside, enjoy the air conditioning and watch a movie. We thought we would help a little.
The South Tampa Community News is holding a TCM Classic Film Review Contest.
Who can enter ? Anyone at lest 16 years of age.
How to enter ? Submit a review of film playing on TCM (Turner Classic Movies) to us. You will be judged on depth of the subject, entertainment style, and the creativity of the review. Email your entry before the deadline to bill@southtampatoday.com.
When to enter ? Deadline dates are indicated next to the selected movies and play dates.
Why should you enter ? This is fun. If selected, your review will appear in an upcoming issue of the South Tampa Community News. And you will receive a one night stay at a luxurious St. Petersburg Beach Resort.
Eligible Movies:
Rasputin and the Empress – Sunday, May 15, 6 PM – entry deadline midnight May 19
Rasputin, the Mad Monk – Sunday, May 15, 8:15 PM – entry deadline midnight May 19
A Face in the Crowd – Sunday, May 22 – 11 AM – entry deadline midnight midnight May 26
The Heart is a Lonely Hunter – Saturday, June 18 – 3:30 PM – entry deadline midnight, June 22
The Misfits – Saturday, July 16 – 6 PM – entry deadline midnight, July 20
Note: All movies are scheduled on the TCM Classic Movie Channel. Schedule is subject to change. Reviews must be between 200 and 350 words.

Winners will be notified within 10 days of the movie screenings.
