The corner of Platt and Howard can be a little treacherous sometimes. This week was no exception as one driver attempted to avoid another and wound up in the fenced patio area of the SOHO Tavern. Fortunately there were no serious injuries and the repair to the patio area is already underway.
Tampa Mayor Pam Iorio and various City Council members have consistently talked about slowing the traffic down and making the SOHO area more pedestrian friendly. However, so far, little has been done to assist in that effort.
